Important Notices:
1) Do not begin the installation before a minimum of 72 hours of product acclimation in the room where the flooring is to be installed
2) Ensure that the subfloor is adequate, well beveled, and dry, the humidity level in the subfloor must not exceed 12%
3) For installation over a concrete subfloor, use a vapor barrier of 0.15mm
4) Use T-mouldings if  the floor is wider or longer than 10M

Base Floor:
The ideal conditions are 40-50% relative humidity. If the rooms have higher levels of humidity, or if the home has a crawlspace and /or cellar or is considered a cottage, please consult a specialist in your area and / or the construction norms.
a) concrete floors
The surface must be absolutely level, dry and clean. Differences in the floor level of more than 6.25mm per 1.52M must be leveled.
Use a vapor barrier at least 0.15mm thick. Edges should overlap by 200MM.
Ensure that 25MM of vapor barrier is up on the walls.
Install flooring.
b) wood and other hard surface
The surface must be dry, clean, smooth and level. Slopes steeper than 6.25 per 1.52m must be beveled
Install flooring.
c) carpet and under padding
Remove both before laying down the floor
d) vinyl floor surface
Install flooring. If the vinyl is on top of concrete, a moisture barrier must be placed on the top of vinyl before installing the floor.

Preparation:
1) Bamboo should never be stored outdoors or in a damp area. If it is to be installed in a new home or as part of a renovation project, ensure that all doors and windows are already in place and that the walls are puttied, painted, and dry. Bamboo should be always the last item installed. Acclimatize the bamboo to the temperature of the room for at least 72 hours prior to installation. The relative humidity of the room should be roughly 40-50%, and should be maintained at this level year round. Leave the bamboo flooring in the boxes until installation.
2) Sub floor need to be prepared as above.
3) There are must be at least 12.5mm between the surface of the floor and the bottom of electrical baseboard heated to allow heat to circulate.
4) Verify door and frame clearance and make required adjustments before laying down the floor. Cut the door molding with a saw to allow planks to slide underneath
5) Carefully remove existing baseboards
6) Decide in which direction the plank should be laid. As a rule, the floor plank should be laid perpendicular to the wall that has a window in it. To make the room appear large, it may be preferable to lay down the floor planks parallel to the longest wall.
7) Before installing, check panels for defects such as chips and sheen differences under good light conditions. Check that the channel is clean and free of debris. Damaged planks mast be replaced before laying down the floor.
8) Bamboo is a natural fiber, so there are many color variation across planks. Work out of 2-3 boxes so that variations in color are distributed naturally across the floor.
9) A minimum expansion area is required around the perimeter of the room as well as any fixed object (door frame, fireplace mantle, etc.): 10mm for rooms 7.6m long or wide, 15mm for rooms greater than 7.6m. Baseboards and quarter rounds can be used to fill out the gap.
10) Between two separate rooms, or in the case of a sill or a doorstep, a moulding is required as well.
11) When met with an obstacle such as post, wall, or counter, keep at least 25mm spacing between the flooring and the object. Make sure to follow this instruction carefully.
Tools
Hand or power saw (fine-toothed blade), chalk line/string, spacers, set square, pencil, tape measure, tapping block, rubber mallet, utility knife, pull bar or crow bar, moisture reader.

Notes: Safety glasses and gloves should be worn at all times.

Installation:
1) Installation method: The planks click together at a 45 degree angle on the length side (see figure B). Note, that a tapping block and mallet may be used for a tighter fit along the lengths of planks. Do not excess force, as this may damage the tongue and groove. Connecting the short ends together must be done using a tapping block and mallet – tapping the tongue into the groove (see figure C and D), when stalling the last plank in a row, it may be necessary to use a pull bar. Place the pull bar between the wall and the laminate and gently tap on the lip on top. Be sure that the tongue and grooves are secured tightly together.
2) Measure the room to establish its squareness and the width of the last row. If the width of the last row is less than 50MM, not including the bottom lip of the groove, the fist row will have to be cut accordingly. The tongue on the first row of planks and the bottom lip of the groove side on the last row of the planks should also be removed. Use T-MOULDING if the floor is wider or longer than 10MM.
3) Irregular wall along the first row of planks – scribe the planks to fill the wall and cut.
4) To start your first row, snap a chalk in parallel to your starting wall (usually the longest run). If the wall is not parallel, adjust the chalk line to compensate at this time. Begin installation in the top left hand corner of the room, with the tongue side against the starting wall. Always place a 10-15mm spacer between the wall or any fixed object (door frame, fireplace mantle, etc) And the plank on either side of each joint and at the far ends of each plank.
5) The first and last plank in a row must be at least 300mm long. Measure the first row before installing. To avoid ending the row with a plank of less than 300mm long, use new planks, cutting it so it is at least 300mm away from the joint of the first plank on the first row. Always remove the bottom lip of the groove and the tongue from the ends of the planks against the walls.
6) Continue laying down the floor from left to right. For a stronger and more natural looking floor, make sure to stagger the joints in each row by at least 200mm. Remove the spacers and install mouldings and quarter rounds to cover the expansion gap. Never nail the mouldings to the bamboo floor

Care and maintenance:
Keep floor dry and clean. Avoid using large quantities of water to clean the flooring.
Do not soak floor with water. If a spill occurs, wipe it up right away with a soft cloth.
Do not clean flooring with acid, ammonia, or any other caustic solvents.
Vacuum are often using the hard surface setting only.
Keep the floor clean. Occasionally wipe it with a soft damp cloth or damp mop.
Before furniture is placed on your new floor, felt protector pads should be installed on the bottom of all furniture legs.
Avoid placing heavy objects on the floor without protective padding. If moving heavy or coarse objects, please place protective padding under the bottom of the object.
Avoiding covering the flooring with papers or plastic sheets/rugs for long period of time,  as this may result in color change.
Area rugs should be moved occasionally as exposure to sunlight can cause the flooring to fade/discolor. This is not considered a defect and is not covered by the warranty.
Do not slide or scrape hard objects against the floor. Avoid walking in high heels shoes on your floor
Do not let furniture sit flush to the flooring, as air cannot circulate underneath the object. This will cause the floor to warp and or cup.
Bamboo is natural product and can scratch, dent, and scuff with use. Follow proper care and maintenance to keep your floor in good condition.
